Coca-Cola Thermometers
How do you get your temperature reading each day? Most of us just turn on the television and watch the local forecast, or maybe it's the radio or internet. Long before the days of these modern conveniences, one would just look outside their window to their thermometer that would have been mounted to the wall. Much has changed, but the trusty thermometer still provides accurate temperature information, no matter how complex our technology has become.
There are two different types of Coca-Cola thermometers that you could purchase for use around your home, or as collectors items. The first type is your typical thermometer with mercury in it. As the heat rises, so does the mercury. They're quite accurate and easy to use. Another type of Coke thermometer that you might be able to find resembles a wall clock, except with just one hand. It will simply point at the current temperature. If you need more information, you may be able to find one with humidity readings as well, which can be great for some climates. If you're a fan of Coca-Cola, you could put one of these thermometers outside your home and let everyone know of your devotion to your favorite Cola.
