Coca-Cola Banks
Most parents try to teach their children from a young age that saving money is important. As children we loved to get a few dollars, or cents and head down to the candy store and spend it. One of the things that parents would often buy for their children to teach them the value of saving is a “piggy bank”. While these banks sometimes resemble a pig, many other types of banks exist that will help children keep track of their coins and save them.
When it comes to Coca-Cola banks many different designs exist that have been made by various companies. One such company that created Coca-Cola banks in the past is Ertl, the maker of toy cars, trucks and tractors. These banks are made of diecast metal and are made to look like a Coke delivery truck. Not only can a child play save coins in their bank, but these banks can also be played with like a toy truck.
In today's economy, we are now seeing the consequences of not saving money, so starting a child off early with saving is important. However, most of these Coke banks are not used for saving anymore, but they're collectors items.
